The University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) has reaffirmed its commitment to inclusive education by equipping professionals and members of the public with Tanzania Sign Language skills to help break communication barriers and improve access to services for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
The training, conducted on August 4, 2026, under the University's Continuous Education Programme, brought together participants from various institutions seeking practical skills to promote inclusive communication in workplaces and communities.
