ACTING DIRECTOR OF POSTGRADUATE STUDIES
This is to inform the University of Dar es Salaam community and the public that the Vice Chancellor, Prof. William A.L. Anangisye, has appointed Prof. Kessy Fidel Kilulya, to the position of Acting Director of Postgraduate Studies, effective from 9th February 2026 until the substantive Director is appointed. Prof. Kilulya is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the College of Natural and Applied Sciences (CoNAS). He holds a PhD in Analytical and Environmental Chemistry from the University of Johannesburg, an MSc in Chemistry, and a BSc with Education from the University of Dar es Salaam. His academic and professional expertise spans analytical and environmental chemistry, with a focus on water purification, environmental and food contaminants, and microplastics. He is actively engaged in teaching, research, consultancy, and supervision at postgraduate level.
