This week, the DUCE Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) held its fourth meeting in the College Boardroom. The IAB aimed to discuss the development of the HEET project, assess the progress of the proposed new curriculum, and evaluate the development of industrial linkages.
During the meeting, the IAB recognised the progress of the HEET project and the associated strategies of implementing the project. Additionally, the IAB emphasized the importance of continued efforts of seeking more linkage opportunities, revisiting collaborations with professionals, and networking with industrial firms to create job opportunities for gaining insights into career outcomes.
Furthermore, the IAB advised the College to utilize various communication media to raise awareness of the project among stakeholders.
In his concluding remarks, the Chairperson of the IAB, Dr. John Kalage, acknowledged the IAB members for their valuable contributions. He also thanked the teams of academics and administrators for brainstorming new ideas that likely to enhance the development of the HEET project and career opportunities.
