The Directorate of Library Services (DLS), through Electronic Information for Libraries (EIFL) organized a training workshop aimed at Nurturing Human Capital for Improving the Quality of Journal Publication Process and Outputs. The workshop sought to utilize insights from seasoned reviewers, editors, and editorial board members to benefit future stakeholders in journal publishing. It served as a forum for exchanging knowledge and skills between both experienced and emerging authors and reviewers.

The focus of the workshop was on capacity building, sharing best practices, and journal sustainability, with particular emphasis on Crafting Research Proposals and Grant Applications, Manuscript Preparation, Submission and Review, as well as Understanding Publishing Agreements and Copyright Issues.
