Maulid Ngulangwa is a Library Officer in the Directorate of Library Services (DLS) at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), Maulid has worked for the University of Dar es Salaam since 2016 to date. He holds a Master’s Degree in International Development and Cooperation (IDC) from 2013 to 2015 (Yeungnam University Republic of South Korea), Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Science from 2008 to 2011(Tumaini University Dar es Salaam College), Diploma in Public Policy from 2014 to 2015 ( Republic of South Korea)  and a Certificate School of Library and Archives Documentation Studies (SLADS) form 2001 to 2002 (National Library Services Tanzania).

His areas of specialization are repackaging of information, Library cataloguing and classification (both electronic and print), archive management, Information Technology and information literacy.
