Nuriati S. Hamisi is a Senior Library Officer II in the Directorate of Library Services (DLS) at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). She has been employed by the University of Dar es Salaam since 2013. Nuriati holds a Master’s Degree of  Arts in Information Studies (MA -IS) from University of Dar es Salaam (2018) and a Bachelor Degree of Arts in Library and Information Studies (BA-LIS) from Tumaini University Dar es Salaam College (2012).

She Possesses excellent organizational skills in knowledge classification and cataloguing of of both electronic and print materials, records management, information literacy, and digitization. Currently, she serves as the Chair Person of Tanzania Higher Learning Institution Trade Union (THTU) Mwalimu Nyerere Campus and section supervisor in the Library Section.
