Chrispin Makemo Malegesi works as a Library Assistant I in the Directorate of Library Services (DLS) at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). He has been with the University since 1990 to date.

Malegesi is a graduate of the University of Dar es Salaam, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration obtained in 2009. Additionally, he holds a National Diploma in Materials Management from 1993, obtained from the National Board of Materials Management (NBMM), and an Accounting Technician Certificate obtained in 2016 from the National Board of Accountancy and Auditors (NBAA).

Within the Directorate, Malegesi's responsibilities include the organization of library materials, customer care skills, shelving, shelf-reading, and providing photocopy services.
