Second year students at the College presented teaching media projects as part of their curriculum and teaching course.
In curriculum and teaching courses, students are exposed to a number of adaptable media and technologies which they can use to simplify teaching and learning in actual classroom situations.
The projects are part of this course where students – in groups, are supposed to use locally available resources to create own instructional media which they can use to aid teaching of certain topics or sub-topics of their choice.
The students presented their cases during seminars where instructors and colleagues got time to cross-examine the choices made about media presented.
The assessment of each media was made on the basis of availability of materials, creativity involved, topics or sub-topics to be taught, level of education, and inclusiveness of the media.
