The research project on nature-based climate solutions at the Department of Geography, University of Dar es Salaam, is funded by the Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH). The project aims to enhance sustainable agricultural development in Tanzania through promoting nature-based climate solutions in the agricultural sector. The department is pleased to announce one PhD and two master’s scholarship opportunities.
The University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) is the oldest University in the country. It began as an affiliate College of the University of London in October 1961. At the time, it only had the Faculty of Law (currently the University of Dar es Salaam School of Law), which started with only fourteen students and three faculty members.
