This is to inform the University of Dar es Salaam community and the general public that, in the exercise of the powers vested upon him, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. William A. L. Anangisye, has made the following reappointments for the triennium 2024/2025 - 2026/2027 with effect from 1 st October 2024:
The Sustainable Agricultural Production and Value Addition for Enhancing Food Security in
Tanzania (Food Security) a Sida-funded sub-programme, has 5 scholarship positions for PhD
studies commencing in March 2025. Some of selected applicants will be co-supervised by
Swedish supervisors and will spend up to six months (three months twice) in Sweden.

The University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) has received funding to support its strategic development plans through the Higher Education for Economic Transformation (HEET) Project, which is supported by the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania (GoT) through the World Bank (WB).
