Prof Florens Luoga

Until October 2017, Professor Luoga was an active staff member of the School of Law also serving as the Deputy Vice Chancellor-Academic, University of Dar es Salaam. This changed on 23rd October 2017, when the President of Tanzania, Dr John Magufuli, appointed him as the Governor of the Bank of Tanzania (Tanzania’s central bank), a position he is still serving to date.
