Mr. Ebenezer Stafford Mshana

Ebenezer Stafford Mshana is an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Economic Law. He holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (2000) and a Master of Laws Degree (2002) from the University of Dar es Salaam. Mr. Mshana also holds a Diploma in Advanced International Programme on Human Rights (2004) from Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, Lund University, Sweden. Currently, Mr. Mshana is pursuing his PhD Studies focusing on Customary Land Rights in Tanzania. Mr. Mshana is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and he is a member of Tanganyika Law Society (the Bar Association for Mainland Tanzania). Mr. Mshana’s areas of specialization are Land Law, Conveyancing, Tax Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Mr. Mshana’s contribution to higher education in Tanzania includes, but not limited to, serving as part-time lecturer and external examiner for various institutions of higher learning. For instance, he is a part-time lecturer at the Law School of Tanzania (2010 – Present). He also served as part-time lecturer at Ardhi University (2006-2010); and Open University of Tanzania, Dar es Salaam (2002-2004). Mr. Mshana has served as external examiner to various universities and institutes including, Institute of Tax Administration (ITA) (2012-2015); Institute of Finance Management (IFM) (2005-2013);Mzumbe University, Faculty of Law, Morogoro (2004-2014); Tumaini University, Dar es Salaam College (2004-2008); Institute of Social Work, Dar es Salaam (2007-2013).
