The founding Faculty of the University of Dar-es-Salaam (now UDSoL) was
established 60 years ago, on Wednesday 25th October 1961 – almost 3 months
before the Independence of Tanganyika.

Colleagues, Alumni, Students and Friends of the UDSoL: Thank you all for
having strived, against all odds in certain cases, to keep the KITIVO flag flying to
greater heights for the past 60 Years – Hongereni sote!
Congratulations UDSoL for achieving this pioneering milestone!
