The University of Dar-es-Salaam School of Law Moot Court Team has once again made us proud! The Team has been awarded a fully funded Scholarship by the Embassy of France in Dar-es-Salaam to participate in the 32nd Edition of the Jean Pictet International Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition which will be held in Obernai, France from 30th March 2019 – 6th April 2019
(See http://www.concourspictet.org/picteten.html and

This achievement has been a result of a rigorous and competitive process that commenced in December 2018 where our Team, under the dynamic guidance of Mr. Abdallah Gonzi and Ms. Hilda Tizeba (The School’s Moot Court Coordinators), submitted their Written Memorials. The Submission was selected for the International Rounds to be held from the dates indicated above, involving 96 Teams (drawn equally from Anglophone and Francophone countries) from various parts of the World.
The following students will be representing the School:
1. Ms. Mwambopile, Alice (2016-04-03174);
2. Mr. Mathias, Yohana (2016-04-03162); and
3. Mr. Bakari, Costa Ramadhani (2015-04-04132)
We sincerely thank the Embassy of France for the support to our Team; wholeheartedly congratulate the Team (and the Coordinators) for this achievement and wish them all the best!
