UDSOL Celebrates its 57th Anniversary
On Thursday 25th October 2018, The Faculty of Law celebrated its 57th anniversary. Members of staff and representatives of students attended the celebrations where staff exchanged historical anecdotes of the history and important milestones of the Faculty. Prof. C. M. Peter presented a paper titled “Justice Robert Habesh Kisanga- Celebrating a Life in Law and Justice.” Thereafter participants convened for breakfast at the lobby of the School’s building. Cutting and sharing a birthday cake (and song) in commemoration of the day was observed.
Members of the School also bided formally farewell to Ms. Georgia Basigazi, Ms. Mary Komba and Ms. Anisa Kilabula who served the Faculty and then the School for a long time before they were transferred to other Units at the University.
We thank all those who made this an eventful day….marking a Happy Birthday to our Faculty!
