Developing teaching and learning materials for Zanzibar

The DUCE project team has been commissioned by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training under Zanzibar Institute of Education (ZIE) to develop teaching and learning materials for Standard One in Zanzibar. The project involves developing textbooks and teacher’s guides for the following subjects: Kiswahili, English, Creative Arts and Sports, Environment, Mathematics and Islamic Religion. The textbooks will be produced in both normal (alphabetic) and tactile (braille) writing.
