Recently, DUCE Management conducted a seminar on health issues. The objective of the seminar was to bring the sense of responsiveness of good health at work place.

The Deputy Principal (PFA), Dr. Samwel Method, congratulated the Staff for attending the seminar. He said despite of the existence of COVID-19, the non-communicable diseases are still distressing the majority workers.

Speaking during the seminar, the facilitator, Dr. Garvin Kweka from Muhimbili National Hospital said workers at DUCE should always reduce stress, avoid isolation and maintain happiness.

In efforts of strengthening health, the facilitator urged the Staff to consult health care providers and maintain culturally health education related to non-communicable diseases, enduring diseases, physical exercise and balancing nutrition.

The seminar benefited the Staff as it increased access to health services and promoted the sense of early management of health condition.
