Research:

My research direction is on Oil/natural gas well cement technology. Especially Nanoparticles and Pozzolanic based Oil/natural gas well cement design, analysis and characterization technology.  I’m also interested in designing salt and acid resistant cement from municipal wastes and clay minerals in addition to biofuel production, purification, and natural gas transportation technologies.

Projects:

  1. Formulation and Performance of Adsorbents from Local Materials for Onboard Storage of Natural Gas: A Key in Addressing Climate Change [PI, TZS 30 million].
  2. The potentials of Tanzania clay minerals and agro-wastes for production of engineering materials. A means to combine a challenge of climate change and material development [Co-Innovator, TZS 100 million].
