Reuben Alfred is a consultant and researcher in the field of information technology specializing in software systems development and network administration. Presently, he holds the Master’s Degree in Information and Communications Science and Engineering (ICSE) from the Nelson Mandela - African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) which he obtained in 2020. He obtained the Bachelor’s Degree in Informatics in 2011 at Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA). In May, 2014 he was employed as academician at the Dar Es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE), a constituent college of the university of Dar Es Salaam. Formerly, from 2013 to 2014 he worked as a network administrator at Secondary Education for Girls Advancement (SEGA) in Morogoro, Tanzania.

 He has a demonstrated record of operational improvement and efficiency on the following but not limited to;-

• Designed, developed and maintained a LAN system with Data Centre at SEGA
• Project member on setup of ICT infrastructure of the new multipurpose building at SEGA
• Systems support and vendor relation management; Ensuring Service Level Agreement (SLA) are met by suppliers/vendors also with other departments within.
