Collaboration

In fulfilling its vision of becoming “a prominent hub for technology driven transformative education, research, innovation and public service for sustainable and inclusive development.” DUCE considers internationalization as an important aspect of its day-to-day operation. Currently, DUCE has collaboration with more than fourteen (14) universities and institutions abroad. These include:

  • Trinity College Dublin in Ireland through the GATE Project
  • Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (WNUAS)
  • University of Victoria (UVIC)
  • Tanzania Partnership Program (Michigan State University)
  • Hamburg University (DALGOM project )
  • French Embassy
  • East China Normal University (ECNU)
  • Zhejiang China Normal University (ZJNU)
  • North East Normal University (NENU)
  • Henan University
  • University of  SS. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava
  • Bielefeld University
  • Pedagogical University of Maputo
  • Goethe-Institute

Through such partnerships, the College is engaging in international joint research, exchange programs as well as joint application of consultancies. In addition, DUCE has had numerous internationalization activities where DUCE staff have visited various countries for conferences and outreach. Moreover, as from 2019 to date, more than 40 foreigners have visited DUCE for various activities including short visits, contract negotiations and exchange programs to mention a few.
