This is to inform the Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE) and the general public that in exercise of the powers vested upon him, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. William A.L Anangisye has appointed the following Heads of Departments, for the 2024/2025 - 2026/2027 trennium with effect from 10th October 2024.
1. Dr. Magreth John Kibiki; Appointed the Head - Department of Languages and Literature.
2. Dr. John Samwel Kihamba, Appointed the Head, Department of History, Political Science and Development Studies (HPD).
3. Dr. Gabriel John Hinju; Appointed the Head of Department of Geography and Economics (GE).
4. Dr. Rehema Japhet Mwakabenga; Appointed the Head of Department of Educational Psychology and Curriculum Studies (EPCS).
5. Dr. Cecilia Peter Swai; Appointed the Head- Department of Educational Foundations, Management and Lifelong Learning (EFML).
6. Dr. Zubeda Seif. Mussa; Appointed the Head, Department of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics (PMI).
7. Dr. Neema Gideon Mogha; Appointed the Head, Department of Biological Sciences.
8. Dr. James Erasto Mgaya; Appointed the Head of Department of Chemistry
