His research focus has been in the area of structural health monitoring of civil engineering infrastructure with integration of recent advancement in technology particularly sensing technologies. He is, further, interested and participated in studies focusing on engineering education.
His area of consultancy includes structural engineering ranging from structural design, supervision of construction works to structural investigations and other related technical studies and construction management.
