I am a dedicated geologist and Tutorial Assistant at the Department of Geoscience, University of Dar es Salaam, specializing in magmatic petrology. I hold a Bachelor of Science with Geology from the University of Dar es Salaam and have gained hands-on experience through internships at Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation, where I contributed to static modeling, seismic surveys, and geological data analysis. I have also participated in fieldwork at Geita Gold Mine and various geological mapping projects across Tanzania. I am a member of the Tanzania Geological Society (TGS). I possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in geological software, and a passion for advancing my expertise in geology through continuous learning and professional development.
I am interested in petrography and geochemistry, with a focus on the mineralogical and chemical characterization of rocks to understand their formation, alteration, and economic significance. My research area involves detailed petrographic analysis and geochemical techniques to investigate rock compositions, metamorphic transformations, and magmatic processes. I am also keen on applying geochemical data to assess mineral resources and explore the geodynamic evolution of geological formations. Through my work, I aim to contribute to advancements in petrological studies and resource exploration.
