Abbot Josephat Antony is an Agricultural Economist and spatial data analyst based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He holds an MSc in GIS and Remote Sensing from Ardhi University and a BSc in Agricultural and Natural Resources Economics and Business from the University of Dar es Salaam. He serves as Tutorial Assistant at the University of Dar es Salaam, teaching applied econometrics and GIS. His research interests include development and environmental economics, spatial econometrics, climate variability, GeoAI, and rangeland systems. He applies geospatial and econometric methods using R, Python, STATA, QGIS, ArcGIS, and Google Earth Engine to study climate–economic interactions and policy impacts.
