I am an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) in the School of Education (SoED) and Department of Educational Psychology and Curriculum Studies (EPCS). I am a teacher by profession having Master of Education Science Education (M.Ed Sc. Ed) from UDSM, a Bachelor of Education in Science Education (B. Ed. Sc – Biology) from UDSM, Diploma of Education (Dip. Ed – Chemistry & Biology) from Morogoro Teacher’s College. Certificate of Competence Based Curriculum Development from Mauritius Institute of Education (MIE). I spent a decade teaching Chemistry and Biology in secondary schools.  For 6 years, I worked at the Tanzania Institute of Education (TIE) as a curriculum developer. Also, I have been involved in designing and developing science textbooks, supplementary books, and other science educational materials intended to serve various academic purposes. Furthermore, I have participated in conducting training on the Competence Based Curriculum for in-service teachers. Additionally, I have been inspiring many youngsters to study and develop in science careers including education, agriculture, and health careers.
