Swaumu Hassan Mohamed is an academician and researcher in Agribusiness Management with growing experience in marketing of agricultural products, project appraisal, impact evaluation, research methodology, and mixed-methods analysis. She currently works as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Business at the University of Dar es Salaam. She holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Dar es Salaam and an MSc. in Agribusiness Management from Egerton University, Kenya. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Management at the University of Dar es Salaam Business School under the SIDA-supported ENGAGE II Program. Her strong skills in data analysis using SPSS, STATA and SmartPLS complement her research and professional practice. Ms. Hassan has also been involved in major consultancy and public service assignments, which include the IFAD’s ARNSA endline survey, the WFP Climate Smart Agriculture Project, the World Bank BOOST program, and a maize value chain analysis study with the Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank (TADB), in addition to teaching and research.
