Ida A. Jaribu is an assistant lecturer in the Department of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at the School of Education. She holds a Master of Education in Research from Moi University, Kenya, and a Bachelor of Education in Physical Education and Sport Sciences from the University of Dar es Salaam.
Before joining UDSM, she served as a physical education teacher in several international schools, where she specialized in delivering the Physical Education Cambridge curriculum. Her teaching journey across diverse educational settings has equipped her with a rich understanding of student-centered pedagogy, curriculum design, and practical sport instruction.
Ida’s academic interests lie in sport marketing, esports innovation, and the integration of digital literacy resilience into educational leadership. She is passionate about empowering Tanzanian youth through localized, high-impact sport education and continues to contribute to the development of sponsorship proposal models tailored to the African context.
