Mr. Jacksonville Isdory Mushi serves as the Public Relations Officer at the University of Dar es Salaam, a position he has held with dedication since 2008. He holds a Master’s Degree in Corporate Communication from Universiti Putra Malaysia (2016) and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Advertising from the University of Dar es Salaam (2007).

Before joining the University, Mr. Mushi worked with Marathon Communication Limited, a marketing and corporate communications agency based in Tanzania, where he served as Operations Manager. In this capacity, he acquired substantial experience in strategic communication, corporate branding, and client relationship management.

At UDSM, Mr. Mushi has demonstrated exemplary leadership in institutional communication, event coordination, and protocol management. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in enhancing the visibility, reputation, and promoting awareness of sustainable development initiatives and stakeholder engagement of the University. He has participated in numerous forums, workshops, and professional development programmes, and has been instrumental in planning and coordinating high-profile university events.

Mr. Mushi is an active member of the Public Relations Society of Tanzania (PRST) and the Tanzania Government Communication Officers (TGCO) Network, reflecting his commitment to continuous professional growth and contribution to the broader communication fraternity.

Beyond his professional role, he enjoys physical exercise, reading stories, watching movies, volunteering in the community, and staying informed about global socio-economic and development trends.
