Biography

Mr. Ambokile Mwakyububu is an Assistant Lecturer tin the department of structural and construction engineering (SCE).

He attained his Bsc  in civil engineering at the University of Dar es salaam (2018) and MSc in structural engineering at the same institution (2024).

His research focus has been in the area of structural health monitoring of civil engineering infrastructure with integration of recent advancement in technology particularly sensing technologies. He is, further, interested and participated in studies focusing on engineering education and construction management.

His area of consultancy includes structural engineering and construction management ranging from structural design, supervision of construction works to structural  investigations. He has participated in deliverying key strategic building and infrastrucutral projects including design and supervision of construction works for Kilimanjaro International Leather Industries, design and supervision of construction works for DodomaTechnical College in Dodoma, design and supervision of construction works for the government aircraft Hangar, review of structural design work for bridges under construction for BRT Phase II, Structural inegtruty assessment for various buildings owned and operated by National Housing Corporation.He has also participated in adjudication of various conflicts in the construction industry.
