Biography

Dr. Mwitondi specializes in the history of animal and plant domestication in Eastern Africa, along with human settlement, mobility, symbolic art, and subsistence patterns during the late Pleistocene and Holocene (modern) periods. His research also covers community engagement in heritage resources, tourism, and management across Tanzania, for which he has published several articles.

Research Interest

I have a research interest in the archaeology of the Pleistocene-Holocene in East Africa.
