Biography

 Laboratory Scientist and Research Assistant

Balishavu was born and raised in Tanzania, where he developed a keen interest in the sciences from a young age. He pursued his undergraduate studies in Agriculture General at the Sokoine University of Agriculture, where he excelled in his coursework and developed a passion for Agriculture research.

 After completing his undergraduate degree, Balishavu joined the Department of Crop Sciences and Beekeeping Technology as a laboratory scientist. In this role, he was responsible for conducting various scientific tests and analyses on soil and plant specimens, contributing to important research in the field of crop sciences. 

  In addition to his role as a laboratory scientist, Balishavu also served as an assistant to academician and researcher at the Department of Crop Sciences and Beekeeping Technology. In this capacity, he played a crucial role in supporting research projects by collecting and analyzing data, conducting field surveys, and preparing reports. His dedication and attention to detail made him an invaluable member of the research team.

2 Evaluation of compost-amended and peatmoss soilless media on agronomic performance and disease resistance in horticultural crop
