Miss Catherine Zacharia obtained her Degree of Library and Information Management  from an Open University, and she also earned a Diploma in Library ,Records and Information Studies from SLADS (School of Library, Archive, and Documentation Studies). Additionally, she completed a certificate level qualification of Library, Records and Information Studies from SLADS.

Currently, Catherine is employed at the University of Dar es Salaam, Mwalimu Nyerere Campus, as a Library Officer in the Library Department, specifically in the Science and Engineering section. Catherine is skilled in various library and documentation tasks. She is proficient in cataloguing, classification, lending books, and data entry in both the Adlib and Koha systems. Catherine is also capable of writing books, Digitizing documents, Managing and maintaining records and documents within an organization.
