APPOINTMENT OF ACTING PRINCIPAL, DAR ES SALAAM  UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (DUCE)

The University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) wishes to inform members of the University community and the public that the Chancellor of the University, Dr. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, has appointed Prof. Amani Lusekelo as Acting Principal of the Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE), effective from 18 May 2026.

Prof. Lusekelo is a Professor in the Department of Languages and Literature, Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE). He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in African Languages and Literature from the University of Botswana, as well as a Master of Arts in Linguistics and a Bachelor of Arts with Education from the. University of Dar es Salaam.
