The Institute of Marine Sciences (IMS) of the University of Dar es Salaam is excited to announce 2 scholarship opportunities for MSc studies. The scholarships are generously funded through a research project titled “Enhancing Coastal Resilience: Integrating Cost-Effective Technologies and Nature-Based Solutions for Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation in Tanzania (ENCORE-TZ)” commissioned by the Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH). The scholarships are designed to support the project objectives that employ innovative multidisciplinary approaches combining cost-effective ocean observation technologies and nature-based solutions, while ensuring active engagement of local communities to address the challenges of climate change, enhance preparedness and resilience in coastal areas of Tanzania.
