MINISTRY OF WATER ENVIRONMENT AND ACCOMMODATION

INTRODUCTION

Ministry of Water, Environment and Accommodation is one among twelve (12) Ministries of Students’ Government University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) that is DARUSO Mlimani 2022 /2023. This Ministry is headed by Minister Hon. JASTINE, MATULANYA C as well as Deputy Minister Hon. MWAKITALU, NASRA ANDREW and secretary LYMO, ALEX BONAVENTURA

 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MINISTRY

Responsibilities of the Ministry of Water, Environment, and Accommodation: 

  1. To supervise and coordinate all water issues at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM).
  2. To ensure the environment of UDSM is clean by setting policies and strategies to bring profit in strengthening the environment.
  3. To supervise all companies of sanitation at UDSM to conserve our environment.

Also, this Ministry is responsible for supervising the whole process of hostel allocation to all students of UDSM, in this process, the Ministry assists in following procedures and policies of Accommodation for the right to be well implemented, especially, for sick students, to students with special needs, to first-year students and others.
