MDCB is a consultancy unit of the University of Dar es Salaam Business School. Its main objective is to enhance skills, transfer and improve managerial operations in today’s environment through training, and consultation. Its main service product lines are short term business management training courses, management consultancy services and commissioned research works.

MDCB has conducted a large number of consultancy services to the industries, nongovernmental and international organizations. The areas in which MDCB specializes fall under human resources management, marketing, finance, organization development, management information systems and accountancy. In the area of consultancy services, the unit specializes in a wide range of business management areas. In particular, we offer training and consultancy services in human resources management (Including recruitment Services), leadership and management development skills, Sector Wide Approaches (SWAPs), team building, financial management, risk management, entrepreneurship, financial accountability and transparency in the public sector, assets and liabilities management in financial institutions, lease management, personal finance, retirement planning, performance management and accountability, public procurement practices and procedures, project write-up, project management, monitoring and evaluation, business planning, corporate strategic planning.
