Biography

Dr. Paschal C. Mdukula is a distinguished professional with over 15 years of experience as a Senior Lecturer and Researcher at the University of Dar es Salaam. He holds a PhD in Linguistics and boasts extensive expertise in sociolinguistics and human communication, which he gained through his academic journey at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) and University of Florida (UF) in the US. His research interests focus on Linguistic landscape and semiotics, visual communication, Health Communication,  strategic and corporate communication. Dr. Mdukula is well-versed in both verbal and written communication, which are vital attributes for success in any professional environment. His excellent presentation skills, interpersonal aptitude, and adeptness in team management further enhance his professional profile. Throughout his career, Dr. Mdukula has actively engaged with various community groups, offering his services in multiple capacities, including community mobilization, teaching and training in communication and language skills.

2023-2025: Rethinking Parent-Child sexual and Reproductive health communication: The Case of Morogoro and Dodoma Districts, 2023-2025, sponsored by the University of Dar es Salaam through its university competitive grant that we won in 2023. The project is worth 10M USD
