Miss Marina Wence Mushobozi is a committed and professional Library Officer at the University of Dar es Salaam Library. She has demonstrated competence in supporting teaching, learning, and research activities through effective information management and user support services.
In her role, Marina has gained practical experience in reference and information services, cataloguing and classification, circulation services, information literacy training, and management of both print and electronic resources. She has also assisted students, researchers, and academic staff in accessing scholarly databases, digital repositories, and other research support tools essential for academic success.
Her professional interests focus on academic librarianship, digital information management, knowledge organization, research support services, and information literacy in higher education institutions. She is particularly interested in advancing the use of digital library technologies to improve accessibility and dissemination of scholarly information.

Miss Marina Wence Mushobozi’s research interests base on the foundation of the field of library and information science to emphasize on how academic libraries support teaching, learning, and research in higher education institutions. She has a keen interest in using contemporary information technology to enhance academic information access, organization, and distribution as a result of her work experience at the University of Dar es Salaam Library.
She is especially interested in exploring how digital transformation in libraries can enhance information accessibility, research visibility, and user engagement among students, researchers, and academic staff.
Her long-term professional aspiration is to contribute to research and policy development in library and information services that improve scholarly communication and expand equitable access to information resources in Tanzania and beyond.
