Biography

I am Innocencia Charles Chanjala, an Educator and researcher in the field of Early Childhood Education, in the School of Education (SoED), Department of Educational Psychology and Curriculum Studies (EPCS)

Am Specialized in;

Early Childhood Learning and Development, Play-Based Learning and Curriculum Design, Early Childhood Psychology and Child Development, Parental and Community Engagement in Education. Also, Competence-Based Teaching and Learning. 

Currently am pursuing a PhD in Early Childhood Studies, with a focus on Competence-Based Teaching and Learning in Early Childhood Education.

My Research Interest Based on;

- Exploring the impact of play-based learning on early childhood development. Investigating the role of parental engagement in early childhood education. Developing competence-based curricula for early childhood settings

My Professional Goals;

- To contribute to the development of evidence-based, child-centered educational practices. Also to support educators in fostering inclusive, engaging learning environments. Likewise to promote community involvement in early childhood education.
