Gabriel Mwaijande Paul is an Assistant Lecturer and Geotechnical Civil Engineer in the Department of Transportation and Geotechnical Engineering (TGE), College of Engineering and Technology (CoET), University of Dar es Salaam. He holds a BSc. in Civil Engineering with Honours from the University of Dar es Salaam and a MSc. with Distinction in Advanced Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Leeds.
He is currently pursuing a PhD at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), South Korea, where his research focuses on "Resilience of Geotechnical Structures under Climate-Induced Loading Conditions".
Gabriel is a licensed professional geotechnical engineer with extensive experience in geotechnical site investigations and design of various geotechnical structures. His expertise includes numerical simulation and modelling of geotechnical systems, soil–structure interaction analysis and laboratory soil testing for the characterization of geotechnical materials. His research interests focus on advancing resilient and sustainable civil and geotechnical engineering solutions in the context of climate change and infrastructure development.
