Objectives and contents

This is a one-year non-degree evening programme leading to the award of Certificate in Computer Science. The academic year is organized in two semesters each of fifteen instruction weeks followed by two examinations weeks. The programme is made of several courses from the following areas: communication skills, mathematics, computer programming, data and information management, systems and architecture, profession and ethics, software design and development, and computer networks.  Specifically, the programme intends to:

Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) - Evening

The programme is offered during evening hours from 5.00 pm as well as weekends (Saturdays). This Programme is aimed at those who intend to work or are already working in the education sector and wish to enhance their career prospects in the teaching profession. The programme provides a flexible route to earn teaching profession qualification and allows candidates to combine work and study. The programme leads to certification in the teaching profession equivalent to a degree level qualification in education.
