CLARIFICATION: SPECIAL AND SUPPLEMENTARY EXAMINATIONS HAVE NOT BEEN ABOLISHED
The University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) has noted information circulating on social media claiming that special and supplementary examinations have been abolished at the University. UDSM wishes to inform the public, particularly students, that this claim is not true.
Special and supplementary examinations remain in place and will continue to be offered. What has changed is when they are conducted. In order to improve academic efficiency, they will now be held within the regular academic almanac of the University. This change does not lower examination standards or alter progression requirements.
