CLIMATE CHANGE AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT SHORT-COURSE
The Centre for Climate Change Studies (CCCS) of the Institute of Resource Assessment (IRA) -University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) is implementing short course training as part of its responsibilities toward promoting better education to the people of Tanzania, Africa, and around the globe, reaching out to the international community. Short course trainings are designed to enhance knowledge and skills development among practitioners and professionals who are working on the ground. The trainings are meant to improve technical understanding and develop competency-based practitioners. From these perspectives, the University of Dar es Salaam, through the CCCS-IRA, is inviting key stakeholders to participate in the Climate Change and Sustainable Development short course, which will enhance their skills related to climate change science, vulnerability and impacts analysis, climate change governance architecture, response measures and climate change and sustainable development linkages. The course is suitably relevant to policy and decision makers, practitioners, and all other stakeholders.
