Call for Applications: Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Studies – Turkiye.

 

The University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), through the Directorate of Internationalization, Convocation and Advancement (DICA), in partnership with Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University (AFSU), Türkiye, invites eligible students to apply for the Erasmus+ KA171 Student Mobility for Studies Programme for the Autumn Semester (September 2026 – February 2027).

This mobility opportunity allows selected students to undertake a one-semester study period at AFSU as part of the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility programme.

Eligible Programmes

Applications are open to students enrolled in the following programmes at UDSM:

  • Doctor of Medicine (UD080)
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (UD098)

Financial Support

Two (2) students will be selected for this mobility opportunity.

Selected participants will receive an indicative Erasmus+ grant of €5,188, which includes:

  • Monthly subsistence allowance: €800 per month
  • Travel grant: €1,188

Students with fewer opportunities may receive an additional €250 per month in accordance with Erasmus+ inclusion support provisions.

Selection Criteria

Applications will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Academic Merit: Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.8/5.0 in all completed courses
  • Inclusion Support: Applicants with disabilities will receive an additional 10 points
  • Prior Erasmus+ Participation: A 10-point deduction applies to applicants who have previously benefited from Erasmus+ mobility at the same academic level

  • Application/Motivation Letter and Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Academic Progress Report
  • Copy of a valid travel passport
  • English Language Proficiency Certificate

Important Information

While course guidelines, assessments, and examinations are available in English, applicants should note that formal lectures at Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University are primarily conducted in Turkish.
