APPOINTMENT OF ACTING DIRECTOR OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DAR ES SALAAM LINDI CAMPUS
The University of Dar es Salaam wishes to inform members of the University community and the public that, in exercise of the powers vested in him, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. William A. L. Anangisye has appointed Dr. Joseph Salvatory Kalonga as Acting Director of the University of Dar es Salaam Lindi Campus for the remainder of the 2024/2025 - 2026/2027 triennium effective from 1st October 2026.
Dr. Kalonga is a Lecturer in the Department of Crop Sciences and BeekeepingTechnology, College of Agriculture and Food Technlogy (CoAF) at the University of Dar es Salaam, with expertise in sustainable agriculture, soil health and conservation. He holds a Ph.D. in Sustainable Agriculture (Agricultural Systems Management) from the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST), a Master of Science in Life Science (Sustainable Agriculture) from NM-AIST, and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture General from Sokoine University of Agriculture.
