TRAINING ON MANAGING SNAKES AND SNAKEBITES

Objectives

This training aims to introduce to participants about groups of snakes found in Tanzania, with key emphasis on; identification, avoidance (of snakes and snakebites), handling and translocation.

Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of the training, participants are expected to gain knowledge and practical skills on dealing with snakes and snakebites and using various gears to handle and translocate snakes.
