Thaudensia Ndeskoi (PhD) is a professionally an educationist working at the University of Dar es Salaam, School of Education, Department of Educational Foundations, Management and Lifelong Learning. She has an experience of more than 20 years in teaching, researching and doing consultancy. Over time, Ndeskoi have been engaging in different leadership positions, education management, and training of trainers, curriculum review, design and development, teaching practice coordination, girls’ education as well as community engagement.  Her research interest and practice is basically focusing on educational issues; community engagement in education; partnerships in education provision; supporting girls’ education; empowering youth and women participation in decision making; ICT and Education access; teacher education; curriculum issues and Environmental Education.  She has been involved in several research projects and consultancies, based on education both locally and internationally. Recently, Ndeskoi has been involved in a projects focusing on implementation of environmental education in Tanzanian schools, gender related issues, curriculum issues, girls education and Higher education. Also, based on capacity building, she has offered various seminars, training and workshops on professional development, Environmental education and Sustainable development and support for girls’ education. In addition, from time to time, she has been involved to take part in Education Curriculum review assignments and instructional material development by Tanzania Institute of Education (TIE
