Mr. Pacho Peter is an Assistant Lecturer at the Institute of Kiswahili Studies, University of Dar es Salaam's Department of Literature, Communication, and Publishing. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Kiswahili (BA Kiswahili) from the University of Dar es Salaam in 2014. Mr. Pacho Peter earned a Master's Degree in Kiswahili (MA Kiswahili) from the University of Dar es Salaam in 2017. Mr. Pacho Peter has been a Ph.D. student at Central China Normal University since 2019.

Mr. Pacho Peter served as an Associate Instructor at the Institute of Kiswahili Studies from 2015 to 2017 and as an Assistant Lecturer at the Institute of Kiswahili Studies at the University of Dar es Salaam from 2017 to 2019.

Pacho is a rising academic who focuses on various aspects of Kiswahili and African literature through teaching, research, and publication to advance and distribute knowledge in that discipline. Mr. Pacho has participated in social activities organized or supervised by the institution he serves in addition to teaching, research, and publishing. Mr. Pacho wishes to enhance his knowledge of Kiswahili literary compatibility, cross-cutting/emerging issues such as environmental crisis, and Kiswahili literature integration with other languages such as English.  Mr. Pacho is a PhD student at Central China Normal University
