College of Agricultural Science and Food Technology focuses on providing education on Agriculture which is the backbone of the Tanzania economy through modern ways of undertaking agriculture, technology, and mechanization that aid in agriculture, modern beekeeping technology, detailed crop science and technology, management of agricultural resources, economy and business and the methods and technology of reducing the postharvest losses from the farm to the table as to increase the economy of Tanzania.
