Research:

Current Research Projects

Molecular identity and population genetic structure of sea cucumbers along the coast of Tanzania. Additionally, He is currently using DNA markers to resolve the taxonomic ambiguity in Halophila ovalis complex and Halodule genera in Tanzania. He is also investigating the population genetic structure and gene flow of the mud creeper Terebralia palustris in Tanzania. One more, understanding the Fisheries indigenous knowledge; opportunities, preservation and knowledge transfer in Tanzania.
